Ranbir Kapoor buys 25.7 acre in Pune 

Actor acquires land in Mulshi, a hotspot for luxury estates and farmhouses

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has expanded his real estate portfolio with the purchase of 25.7 acres of land in Mulshi Taluka near Pune for ₹16.42 crore, underlining the growing appeal of large land parcels among celebrities and high-net-worth individuals. Property registration records show the actor acquired four adjoining parcels in Pimpiri village. The transaction was registered on April 30, with a stamp duty payment of ₹82.13 lakh.

The largest parcel, measuring about 43,800 sq. metres, was acquired for ₹7.07 crore, while the remaining three parcels measuring 29,900 sq. metres, 21,400 sq. metres and 8,900 sq. metres were purchased for ₹4.62 crore, ₹3.31 crore and ₹1.39 crore, respectively. The acquisition follows Ranbir Kapoor's purchase of a ₹3.31 crore plot in Ayodhya earlier this year, indicating a growing interest in land assets across different markets.

Mulshi has emerged as one of Maharashtra's preferred destinations for luxury farmhouses, wellness retreats and private estates because of its scenic surroundings, pleasant climate and connectivity to Pune and Mumbai. Market observers believe the latest acquisition reflects the growing preference among affluent buyers for large land holdings that offer privacy, lifestyle value and long-term appreciation.
