Amitabh Bachchan Set to  Earn Huge Rental Income 

3 Floors, ₹33 Lakh Monthly Rent ₹22 Crore Deal for Five Years

Amitabh Bachchan is set to earn substantial rental income from his real estate investments. He has leased three floors of his commercial building, Signature, in Andheri West, Mumbai, to prominent nutrition brand Trunativ F&B Private Limited.Under the lease agreement, the company will pay a monthly rent of ₹33 lakh.

The three floors together have a combined carpet area of approximately 8,428 sq. ft. The tenant has also been allotted nine dedicated car parking spaces in the building. The lease has been signed for a period of five years, commencing from August 15, 2026. Registration documents state that Trunativ has already paid a security deposit of ₹1.98 crore.

The initial monthly rent is ₹33 lakh, with a 5% annual escalation. Based on this escalation, the total rental income over the five-year lease period is estimated at approximately ₹21.88 crore. Amitabh Bachchan’s investments in Mumbai’s real estate market are not new.

He has acquired several commercial properties, particularly in Andheri West and Oshiwara, and has been leasing them to companies. Over the past four years, the Bachchan family has reportedly invested around ₹194 crore in Mumbai real estate, with the combined properties covering approximately 1.8 lakh sq. ft.

Office Space Also Leased to Warner Music

Amitabh Bachchan has previously leased out his commercial properties to corporate tenants. In 2023, he leased four office units in the Lotus Signature building in Mumbai to Warner Music Private Limited. The agreement provided for a monthly rent of approximately ₹17.30 lakh. The office units together covered around 10,180 sq. ft. The five-year lease agreement also included a provision for an increase in rent during the later part of the lease period.
