Balakrishna gives land for road widening near KBR Park
The Telugu actor opts for TDR as reports highlight a new Jubilee Hills home.
PROPERTY PULSE
Actor and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has agreed to provide part of his residential property for the road-widening works intended to ease traffic congestion around the KBR Park in Hyderabad.
About 862.77 square yards of land belonging to his residence at the Jubilee Hills Road No. 45 Junction will be used for the road development. Instead of monetary compensation, Balakrishna is understood to have opted for Transferable Development Rights (TDR).
As part of the wider traffic management plan around the KBR Park, Sabdalaya Studios and Bhavya Constructions have also agreed to provide portions of their properties for road development.

Reports of New Luxury Home
Meanwhile, reports that Balakrishna is building a new luxury residence in Jubilee Hills have drawn attention in film and real estate circles.
The proposed residence is reportedly spread across approximately 10,000 sq ft and designed as a ground-plus-two-storey building. Reported features include a private home theatre, modern gym, swimming pool, landscaped garden, and a dedicated prayer room.
Taking into account the reported construction and interior costs and the land's market value, media reports have estimated the property at more than ₹100 crore. However, the valuation and details of the residence have not been independently confirmed.
