India–Sweden Push Green Shift: ISIA Workshop in Hyderabad Accelerates Industrial Decarbonization

Hyderabad hosted the 27th India–Sweden Innovations Accelerator (ISIA) workshop, strengthening bilateral efforts to drive industrial decarbonization and clean technology adoption. Backed by the Swedish Energy Agency and implemented with Business Sweden and the Confederation of Indian Industry, the initiative enables Swedish cleantech firms to enter India while helping local industries deploy proven sustainable solutions.

The Hyderabad workshop brought together 40 Indian companies and seven Swedish firms, showcasing innovations in energy efficiency, smart grids, IoT systems, clean mobility, and advanced materials. Since inception, ISIA has introduced over 80 technologies, enabled 250+ projects, and facilitated 50+ partnerships, making it a key platform for green collaboration.

Industry leaders stressed that sustainability has moved from intent to execution, with growing demand for scalable and cost-effective solutions. Swedish representatives highlighted strong alignment between India’s rising energy needs and Sweden’s clean tech expertise, encouraging deeper partnerships.

The event featured technical presentations, success stories, and focused B2B meetings, enabling direct collaboration opportunities. ISIA continues to bridge global innovation with India’s industrial ecosystem, accelerating the transition towards a low-carbon, sustainable future.
