Hyderabad Gears Up for Telangana Rising Global Summit: International CEOs, Cultural Shows & More
A Major Push for Investments, Discussions on Government Support
Delegates From Over 44 Countries to Attend
Governor to Inaugurate the Summit This Afternoon
All arrangements have been finalized for the two-day Global Summit, aimed at showcasing Telangana’s tremendous potential, attracting investments, and creating employment opportunities for the youth. The government has made grand preparations at the Bharat Future City to host this prestigious event.
Over the two days, 154 international delegates from more than 44 countries will attend the summit. Teams of senior management representatives from globally renowned companies are participating. From the United States alone, 46 delegates from various corporations are arriving.
Monday at 1:30 PM, Governor Jishnu Dev Varma will formally inaugurate the summit. Around 2,000 national and international guests will be present for the opening ceremony.
Several eminent personalities will address the summit, including Nobel Laureate Abhijit Banerjee, Trump Media & Technology Group CEO Eric Swider, World Economic Forum CEO Jeremy Jurgens, Nobel Peace Prize winner Kailash Satyarthi, and Biocon Ltd. Executive Chairperson Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, among others.
At 2:30 PM, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will deliver his address. He will outline Telangana’s governance model, investment opportunities, government support mechanisms, the Vision 2047 document goals, and details about the Bharat Future City.
A total of 27 thematic sessions will be held across the two days, for which officials have prepared dedicated seminar halls.
Special promotional material has been prepared for international and domestic guests to help them learn about Telangana and Hyderabad’s unique strengths. These displays will be showcased from the airport to the Future City venue in various formats. Across Hyderabad, advanced tech-driven promotional setups have been installed, including light projections, 3D projection mapping, and LED screens along the airport approach road.
After the thematic discussions, a musical concert by renowned music director M.M. Keeravani will entertain the delegates. Cultural performances will feature Telangana’s traditional art forms such as Kommu Koya, Banjara, Kolatam, Gussadi, Oggu Dolu, Perini dance, and Bonalu.
Meanwhile, the Tourism Department has arranged a special visit for diplomatic teams to Buddhavanam, the world’s largest Buddhist heritage theme park near Nagarjuna Sagar. Throughout the summit, guests will be served authentic Hyderabadi Biryani along with Telangana’s signature dishes, with kitchens fully prepared for the grand hospitality.
To ensure the visit remains memorable, each delegate will receive a special souvenir from the Telangana government, featuring the Telangana Rising Global Summit logo. The gift set includes a Pochampally Ikat shawl, Cheriyal art piece, Hyderabadi attar, pearl jewelry, and more. Another special gourmet basket includes Telangana delicacies such as Ippa Puvvu Laddu, Sakinalu, Chekkalu, Badam Ki Jali, Nuvvula Undalu, and Makka Pelalu.
