Hyderabad Building Collapse: 7-Storey Structure on 50-Sq-Yard Plot Collapses..

A seven-storey allegedly illegal building collapsed in Anjaiah Nagar, Madhapur, Hyderabad. Two bodies have been recovered from the debris, while officials suspect that three more people may still be trapped under the rubble. The building was reportedly being constructed on a 50-square-yard plot, raising serious questions over how permission was granted for such a tall structure on such a small site.

The seven-storey building suddenly collapsed and fell onto a neighbouring apartment building, which was also severely damaged. Several people in the adjacent building were injured and have been shifted to a hospital for treatment.

Local residents have expressed anger over the incident and questioned how authorities allowed a seven-storey building to be constructed on a 50-square-yard plot next to a nala (drain). They are demanding answers from the government and concerned authorities over the approvals and construction permissions granted for the building.
