Singer Kailash Kher has sold a commercial office in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex for ₹10.75 crore, less than a year after purchasing the property for ₹10.50 crore.  The office is located in the same Trade Centre complex in BKC, Bandra East. The property has a carpet area of 2,619 sq ft. The sale transaction was registered on September 9, 2026. Kher had acquired the commercial space in November 2025 for ₹10.50 crore.

The subsequent sale at ₹10.75 crore represents a difference of ₹25 lakh, or about 2.4 per cent, over the purchase price. The transaction illustrates how commercial properties in established business districts can change hands even over relatively short holding periods. However, the headline difference between the purchase and sale prices does not represent the seller’s net return. Stamp duty and registration on the original purchase, brokerage, legal and transaction expenses, taxes and other costs would reduce the effective gain.

The holding period also means that the property needs to be assessed against the carrying costs and any rental income earned during ownership. At ₹10.75 crore, the transaction adds to the series of high-value office deals in BKC involving well-known personalities. It also underlines the importance of looking beyond the gross sale-price difference when assessing returns from short-term commercial property transactions.
