GHMC Chief City Planner K. Srinivas Appointed as TGRERA Secretary

The Telangana government has appointed K. Srinivas, Chief City Planner of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), as Secretary of the Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TGRERA), filling an existing vacancy as part of a reshuffle of senior town planning officials. 

Under orders issued by the Metropolitan Area & Urban Development (MA&UD) Department through G.O. Rt. No. 630, M. Bhavani Rani, Director (Planning) at the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), has been transferred and posted as Chief City Planner, GHMC, succeeding Srinivas.

The government stated that the transfers were made in view of administrative exigencies and directed the Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA, and the GHMC Commissioner to complete the necessary formalities for implementing the postings.

The reshuffle places Srinivas in charge of TGRERA's administration at a time when the state's real estate sector continues to witness strong residential and commercial activity, while Bhavani Rani assumes a key planning role at GHMC, overseeing urban development and planning functions across Hyderabad.
