Cross-border real estate investment platform Raveum has launched a fractional investment opportunity allowing Indian investors to access pre-vetted U.S. commercial real estate with a minimum investment of $1,000. The offering aims to provide exposure to dollar-denominated real estate assets at a time when the Indian rupee has faced depreciation against the U.S. dollar.

The platform enables investors to own fractional interests in U.S. commercial properties, making an asset class traditionally reserved for institutional and high-net-worth investors more accessible to a wider audience.

According to Raveum, the platform also assists investors with property selection, regulatory compliance, taxation, and remittance procedures under India's Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS), simplifying cross-border investments. Commenting on the launch, Kabir Israni, Founder of Raveum, said Indian investors are increasingly looking to diversify beyond rupee-denominated assets as currency fluctuations influence long-term wealth preservation and global purchasing power.
