TG presses Centre to fast-track RRR North

Telangana has stepped up efforts to fast-track the Northern Regional Ring Road (RRR), with chief minister A. Revanth Reddy urging the Centre to secure Union Cabinet approval and begin construction at the earliest. The Chief Minister said 95 per cent of land acquisition for the northern corridor has already been completed, paving the way for speedy execution.
During a meeting with union road transport and highways minister Nitin Gadkari in New Delhi, Revanth Reddy also sought approval for the Southern Regional Ring Road, saying simultaneous execution of both corridors would reduce project costs and accelerate completion.
