Telangana is stepping up efforts to position itself as a global hub for electronics manufacturing, with a focus on building a comprehensive ecosystem beyond assembly operations, according to reports.
IT and industries minister D. Sridhar Babu said the State is working towards developing a complete value chain, covering component manufacturing as well as advanced technologies, to strengthen its industrial base and attract global investments.
The remarks came as Hyderabad-based Radiant Appliances and Electronics achieved a milestone of manufacturing 10 million television units. The development, the minister said, reflects the growing strength of Telangana’s electronics manufacturing sector.
Reports said the government aims to create an enabling environment for companies across the value chain, positioning the State as a preferred destination for investments in the sector.
The push is part of broader efforts to expand manufacturing capabilities and support long-term industrial growth in Telangana.
