Kriti Sanon's property bet delivers good return

Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon and her family have demonstrated the long-term wealth-building potential of real estate, selling four apartments in Mumbai's Andheri West locality for a combined ₹8.88 crore. According to property registration data analysed by Square Yards, the apartments were sold to filmmaker and casting director Mukesh Chhabra through four separate transactions.

The Sanon family had invested a total of ₹4.31 crore in the four units over different periods. The two larger apartments were purchased by Geeta Sanon in 2013, while Kriti Sanon and her sister Nupur Sanon acquired two smaller units in 2017. The properties were recently sold for a combined ₹8.88 crore, an appreciation of nearly 107 per cent over the holding period.

The apartments are located in Raheja Classic, a well-known residential complex in Andheri West, one of Mumbai's most sought-after neighbourhoods because of its proximity to the film and entertainment industry. The sale comes even as Kriti Sanon expands her luxury property portfolio. The actor recently acquired a sea-facing duplex penthouse in Mumbai's upscale Bandra locality, reportedly valued at around ₹78 crore.
