Preity Zinta Sells ₹32 Crore Assets, Opts for Luxury Rental
Bollywood actor and Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta has leased a luxury 1,500 sq. ft. apartment in Mumbai's upscale Pali Hill, Bandra West, for an initial monthly rent of ₹6 lakh under a two-year agreement after selling residential assets worth over ₹32 crore.
Bollywood actor and Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta has once again grabbed attention in Mumbai’s real estate market with a strategic luxury rental deal in the city’s prestigious Pali Hill neighbourhood. According to property registration documents, she has leased a premium 1,500 sq. ft. apartment in Bandra West for an initial monthly rent of ₹6 lakh under a two-year agreement.
The lease, effective from May 27, 2026, includes a dedicated parking space, a refundable security deposit of ₹27 lakh, and a 15-month lock-in period. The monthly rent will increase to ₹6.5 lakh during the second year, taking the total rental outgo to nearly ₹1.5 crore over 24 months.
The move follows the sale of two high-value residential properties owned by Zinta in the same upscale locality. She reportedly sold one apartment for ₹18.5 crore earlier this year after disposing of another property worth over ₹14 crore in late 2025, unlocking more than ₹32 crore in capital.
Real estate experts say this reflects a growing trend among high-net-worth individuals (HNIs)—monetising assets at peak valuations while continuing to enjoy premium lifestyles through long-term leasing. The strategy offers liquidity, investment flexibility, and continued access to elite neighbourhoods without long-term ownership commitments.
