The Telangana government’s grand Global Summit is now attracting worldwide attention. “Telangana Rising Global Summit – 2025” is being organised with the primary goal of drawing massive investments. Set to be held on December 8 and 9 at Bharat Future City, the event aims not only to secure investments but also to showcase and elevate Telangana’s brand image globally. Nearly 3,000 top industrialists and 500 companies are participating, fueling expectations of large-scale investments into Future City.

The government will unveil a key document titled “Telangana Rising 2047”, outlining the state’s next 25-year journey. Inspired by India’s national growth goals and the ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ vision, the roadmap highlights that investment is not just about business—quality of life and a safe environment also matter. Telangana aims to position itself as the first choice for any investor looking at India. The summit’s core objective is to demonstrate that the state already has all the resources required to emerge as a global innovation hub.

The government will showcase how Telangana has become a paradise for investment. Hyderabad’s pharma ecosystem is recognized as one of the world’s best. Advantages in IT, life sciences, and aerospace will be highlighted. The state will present its vast land availability, favourable climate, high-quality roads, strong infrastructure, and 24x7 power supply to investors. Government incentives, ease-of-business reforms, and specially curated presentations will form the summit’s key highlights. Departments will showcase two-year success stories along with 22-year progress plans through power-point presentations.

Singapore-based Sembcorp has shown keen interest in investing in Future City. Known globally for solar power and non-conventional energy, and active in waste-water treatment and urban infrastructure, the company already operates power projects in multiple Indian states. Sembcorp has initiated talks with the state, proposing that if 1,000 acres are allotted in Future City, several other Singapore-based companies would also invest. An agreement may be signed during the summit if the government gives the green signal. Job creation and investment plans may be officially announced. Hindustan Unilever has also expressed interest in establishing a major industry in Future City.

The government has invited over 3,000 top industrialists and business leaders from India and abroad. Political leaders, tech giants, and CEOs from global corporations are among the invitees. From former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair to Trump Media & Technology Group Director Eric Swider, industrial icon Anand Mahindra, and members of the UAE Royal Family — many dignitaries are expected to attend. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also likely to participate, adding further significance to the event.

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn has come forward to set up a world-class Film City in Bharat Future City. The MoU will be signed during the summit. The state has already allotted land to Salman Khan for setting up another Film City. Reliance Group has shown interest in investing in Telangana as well, particularly in establishing the Wantara Animal Rescue Centre, Wildlife Conservatory, and Night Safari—either in the 15,000-acre forest region of Future City or in the undivided Mahabubnagar district. The government believes this project will give a major boost to Telangana’s tourism sector.

Luxury F&B leader Foodlink F&B Holdings will invest ₹3,000 crore to build three-star hotels in Future City. The agreement will be signed during the summit.
