RK Puram RUB Land Acquisition Process to Be Fast-Tracked

The proposed RK Puram Road Under Bridge (RUB) project is set to move ahead with the land acquisition process being expedited to facilitate its implementation. The Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC) is focusing on completing the required land-related procedures and resolving pending issues.

MMC Commissioner T. Vinay Krishna Reddy, reviewed the project with Town Planning and Engineering officials at the corporation's headquarters in Tarnaka. The review covered the land required for the RUB, the acquisition process completed so far, the current status and issues involved. 

Officials were asked to identify the land required for the project, verify relevant records and coordinate with concerned landowners to speed up the acquisition process. The Commissioner also directed officials to resolve issues arising during land acquisition in coordination with the concerned departments.

The Town Planning and Engineering departments were instructed to work in coordination and complete the project's technical details, land-related information, necessary proposals and other procedures without delay. Officials were also asked to continuously monitor progress at each stage and resolve pending issues at the earliest.

The RK Puram RUB is expected to improve urban transportation facilities, and officials have been directed to give priority to the land acquisition process to facilitate the project's implementation.

The Commissioner further directed the concerned departments to maintain continuous coordination and take forward the land acquisition process on a priority basis.

Chief Engineer Srinivasa Rao, Chief City Planner Pradeep Kumar, Projects Head and Executive Engineer Rohini, a Deputy Engineer from the Projects Division, ACPs from the Town Planning Department, Deputy Commissioner Balakrishna and other officials attended the review meeting.
