Hyderabad to get Its First 72-Storey Skyscraper

For the first time in Hyderabad’s construction history, an engineering consortium has come forward to build a 72-storey skyscraper, according to reports. If the project becomes a reality, it could emerge as South Asia’s tallest building.

The news came to light after applications seeking approvals were submitted to local authorities. The building is said to be inspired by a “Dancing Daffodil” theme, with a design that gives the impression of the structure twisting gracefully in the air. From a distance, the elevation will appear dynamic rather than static, creating a visually striking effect. Interestingly, until now, most skyscrapers in Hyderabad have been concentrated in West Hyderabad. However, this 72-storey tower is proposed in Ghatkesar, East Hyderabad, making it a significant development for the region.

The company has reportedly already approached the Fire Services Department for approvals. The structure will feature design variations every 30 floors, reflecting global architectural standards. The developer aims to introduce world-class construction design concepts to Hyderabad through this ambitious project.
