Although the number of units sold fell by 4%, the value of sales rose by 4%. The quarterly number of homes sold dropped to 39,201 units, and new supply declined by 10%, falling to 28,721 units.

Cities such as Ahmedabad, Surat, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Jaipur, Nashik, Nagpur, Mohali, Bhubaneswar, Lucknow, Bhopal, Coimbatore, Goa, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kochi were included in the study.
Among them, Ahmedabad—the largest Tier-2 real estate market—saw home sales fall by 6% to 13,021 units. Surat recorded an 8% decline, dropping to 4,936 units.

About 60% of new launches and sales in Tier-2 cities came from Gujarat’s major markets: Ahmedabad, Surat, Gandhinagar, and Vadodara.
