Sridhar Babu Reviews Bahadurpally–Kompally Road Widening, Directs Sept. 30 Completion Target

The Bahadurpally–Kompally road widening project has been given a fresh push, with IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu directing officials to complete the works by September 30 to improve connectivity and reduce traffic congestion in the fast-growing northwestern suburbs of Hyderabad.

Inspecting the project at Dulapally, the minister reviewed the progress of the works alongside CMC Commissioner G. Srijana, District Collector, Zonal Commissioner and officials from the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC), HMDA, TGSPDCL, the Forest Department and other concerned departments.

The minister instructed all departments to work in coordination to ensure the project is completed within the stipulated timeline. He directed officials to finish the shifting of electricity poles in the forest stretch by August 15, enabling the remaining road widening works to progress without delay.

To keep the project on schedule, he also directed officials to expedite the land acquisition process in Dulapally and Bahadurpally villages.

As part of the project, HMDA has been asked to prepare a proposal for a stormwater drain and submit it to the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation for examination and further action.

Sridhar Babu said the road widening project is expected to improve connectivity between Bahadurpally and Kompally, ease traffic congestion and support smoother movement along one of the region's growing residential corridors. He directed all departments to adhere to the timelines and work in coordination to complete the project as scheduled.
