IIID Showcase Insider X 2026 Returns to Hyderabad with Expanded Design Focus

IIID Showcase Insider X 2026 takes place in Hyderabad from June 19–21 at HITEX, bringing together 150+ exhibitors and 300+ brands to spotlight design innovation and industry collaboration.

Hyderabad becomes the focal point of India’s design and interiors industry as the Indian Institute of Interior Designers – Hyderabad Regional Chapter (IIID-HRC) opens its flagship biennial exhibition, IIID Showcase Insider X 2026, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre. The three-day event, running from June 19 to 21, 2026, is being inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who will also unveil the official exhibitor directory, marking a high-profile opening to the industry showcase.

Positioned among the country’s leading design-led trade exhibitions, the event brings together architects, interior designers, builders, consultants, trade partners, and students, reflecting the sector’s expanding scale and influence.

The 2026 edition is expected to attract over 6,000 business visitors from India and abroad. Spanning 80,000 sq. ft., it features more than 150 exhibitors and over 300 brands showcasing innovations in materials, technologies, and interior solutions for residential and commercial spaces.

Key highlights include “Design Street,” a curated runway-style corridor, knowledge sessions, international keynotes, and Sthapatya Utsav, a student-focused platform with workshops and competitions.

The event details were announced at a press conference at B-Hub by IIID-HRC leadership, including Chairperson Ar. N. Praveen Kumar, Convenor Ar. Rakesh Vasu C.S., Co-Convenor Ar. Naveen Chalasani, and Vice Chairman (Trade) Ramesh Patel, highlighting the expanded scale and focus on design innovation and collaboration.

The opening day will feature a Corporate Meet at 5:00 PM followed by the IIID Fellowship Meet at 7:00 PM, with a keynote by Jonas Upton-Hansen, Founding Director of UHA. The session will be attended by IIID President Ar. Jignesh Modi and President-Elect Ar. Shamini Shanker Jain. Day two concludes with a Valedictory Ceremony and Gala Night for members and spouses.

Since its launch in 2014, IIID Showcase Insider X has evolved into one of India’s key design platforms, tracking shifts in architecture, sustainability, and urban development. The 2026 edition continues this trajectory, positioning Hyderabad as a growing center for design-led innovation and industry collaboration.
