Godrej Buys 5 Acres in Kokapet for ₹547.75 Crore
Godrej Properties acquires 5 acres in Kokapet Neopolis for ₹547.75 crore to build a premium housing project, strengthening Hyderabad real estate growth.
Godrej Properties, a leading real estate developer, is expanding its portfolio in Hyderabad. The company purchased a 5-acre land parcel for ₹547.75 crore to build a premium housing project with a projected revenue potential of ₹4,150 crore.
The land was acquired via HMDA’s e-auction in Kokapet Neopolis, the fastest-growing real estate zone in Hyderabad. Godrej stated that the project would offer around 2.5 million sq. ft. of saleable area.
Neopolis, Kokapet, has quickly emerged as one of Hyderabad’s most sought-after markets due to its proximity to the Financial District, Hitec City, strong infrastructure growth, global tech firms, international schools, retail avenues, hospitals, and a rapidly developing ecosystem.
Earlier this year in August, Godrej Properties acquired 7.825 acres in Kukatpally and launched Godrej Madison Avenue in Kokapet and Godrej Regal Pavilion in Rajendranagar. With this latest Kokapet acquisition, the company is rapidly expanding its footprint.
Godrej reported sales of over ₹2,600 crore in Hyderabad during the 2025 calendar year.
“Hyderabad continues to grow with strong infrastructure expansion and stable demand for quality homes. Through strategic acquisitions and diverse developments, we aim to strengthen our presence in this market. Our focus is to offer projects with thoughtful design and customer-centric features, delivering long-term value for homebuyers,” said Gaurav Pandey, MD & CEO, Godrej Properties.
In the first half of the financial year, Godrej Properties recorded ₹15,587 crore in sales bookings, a 13% increase from ₹13,835 crore in the same period last year.
