TDR NEW RULES: DO’s & DON’Ts FOR LANDOWNERS
TDR NEW RULES: DO’s & DON’Ts FOR LANDOWNERS
✅ DO’s
• Verify FTL / MFL / Buffer status of your land through notified maps before taking any decision
• Maintain clear title documents and revenue records for smooth TDR processing
• Respond to Government notifications inviting land surrender for lake, riverfront, or nala projects
• Choose the best option—TDR, setback relaxation, or additional floors—based on project feasibility
• Seek professional advice on utilisation or monetisation of TDR within the Core Urban Region (CURE)
❌ DON’Ts
• Do not undertake construction in FTL or MFL areas, as permissions are prohibited
• Do not assume uniform TDR—entitlement varies between FTL, buffer zones, and other categories
• Do not surrender land informally without official notification or written approval
• Do not ignore clearance requirements, including Fire and Airport Authority NOCs
• Do not delay title resolution, as disputed lands will have TDR parked in the TDR Bank until cleared
