HYDRAA Rolls Out Online Fire NOC Services Across CURE Region

Obtaining a Fire No Objection Certificate (Fire NOC) for eligible buildings has gone fully digital, with the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Protection Agency (HYDRAA) introducing an online system for applications, approvals, renewals and fee payments. The move is expected to simplify the approval process for property owners, developers and other applicants by eliminating the need to visit HYDRAA offices.

The online services were launched by HYDRAA Commissioner A.V. Ranganath in the presence of Additional Director (Fire) Varla Papayya, Regional Fire Officer Jayaprakash, District Fire Officers Y. Gautham and S. Sridhar Reddy, and IT Division In-charge Bachi Reddy.

Applicants can now apply for Fire NOCs and renewals through the dedicated portal, hydraafirenoc.telangana.gov.in, by submitting the required information, uploading supporting documents and paying the applicable fees online.

Previously, HYDRAA issued Fire NOCs and renewals for non-high-rise buildings within the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits. The Telangana government has now expanded these services to cover all three municipal corporations under the Core Urban Region Economy (CURE) jurisdiction, comprising GHMC, Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) and Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation (MMC).

According to HYDRAA, applicants will no longer be required to visit its office for processing. Once an application is submitted, officials will conduct field inspections to verify compliance with fire safety norms based on the information provided. Following verification, approved Fire NOCs or renewal certificates will be issued digitally and made available for download through the online portal.

The agency stated that applicants no longer need to visit HYDRAA offices, as applications, document uploads, fee payments, approvals and certificate downloads can now be completed through the online portal.
