GAP Group has commenced work on Hyatt Place Dholera, a proposed five-star hotel being developed in partnership with Hyatt in Gujarat’s Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR). The project is intended to serve business travellers, investors and visitors as the industrial city develops.

The hotel will have 200 rooms, including 20 suites, across approximately 2.6 lakh sq ft of built-up area. Rising about 65 metres, the development will include two basement levels, a restaurant, banquet hall, meeting facilities, swimming pool, gym, café and lounge.

Banquet and pre-function spaces, along with an outdoor lawn, are planned to accommodate around 500 people. Sonale Zagade, general manager at Hyatt Group, unveiled the finalised design at the groundbreaking ceremony, attended by former Gujarat Cabinet Minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasama and Dhandhuka MLA Kalubhai Dabhi.

Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also visited GAP Group’s Akhilam Township and reviewed the hotel site and other developments.

Gopal Goswami, chairman of GAP Group, said the hotel would address the hospitality requirements of investors, business travellers and visitors. Managing Director Ambrish Parajiya said the Group planned to invest ₹2,500 crore in Dholera by 2030 across residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Located along the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, Dholera is being developed as a smart industrial city. The Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway and proposed international airport are expected to strengthen regional connectivity.
