On the third day, the zone-wise demolition figures were nine in Serilingampally Zone, four in Kukatpally Zone and six in Quthbullapur Zone.
The enforcement action covers construction activity across the three CMC zones, with field teams checking buildings being developed without the required permissions or in violation of applicable building regulations. The civic body is focusing on identifying violations at the construction stage and taking action as prescribed.
The CMC Commissioner, G Srijana, has directed the Town Planning and enforcement teams to continue daily field-level inspections and strict monitoring of unauthorised construction activity.
She noted that all identified unauthorised constructions would be taken up for demolition or other enforcement measures in accordance with the prescribed procedure and applicable regulations.
