The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority has set up a Public Grievance and Guidance Cell (PGGC) at its office to provide structured support to stakeholders across the real estate sector. According to the authority, the PGGC will function as a single-window facilitation centre, offering guidance, verified information, and assistance in filing complaints under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016. The service is intended to address queries, issues, complaints, awareness needs, and project-related information concerning homebuyers, promoters, and real estate agents.

The officials said, the cell has been designed to simplify processes for stakeholders by offering clear guidance on regulatory provisions and complaint mechanisms. It will also assist users in navigating project-related concerns and compliance requirements under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 framework.

The authority further noted that the PGGC will play a role in improving awareness among homebuyers, reducing procedural complexity, and creating a defined pathway for grievance redressal.

The facility was inaugurated by Justice Santosh Reddy, Chairperson of the Telangana Real Estate Appellate Tribunal, alongside Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority Chairman, Dr N Satyanarayana. The initiative is positioned as part of TG-RERA’s efforts to strengthen access to information and streamline grievance handling in the state’s real estate sector.
