ED Cracks Down on BhuvanaTeza Infra Over ₹70 Crore Pre-Launch Scam

In a major enforcement action, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday raided six locations linked to Bhuvana Teja Real Estate Company in Hyderabad, uncovering large-scale financial irregularities tied to alleged cash-based pre-launch transactions. According to officials, the company lured homebuyers with unofficial pre-launch offers and collected over ₹70 crore in cash—violating real estate regulations and diverting customer funds for unauthorized activities. 

The crackdown comes after TG RERA previously penalized the developer for non-compliance, including a fine of ₹14.91 lakh for failing to deliver flats on time. RERA also directed the firm to refund amounts collected from buyers. The ED is now scrutinizing customer data, fund flows, and diversion patterns to determine the full extent of the alleged fraud. Initial findings indicate that buyers who invested under pre-launch schemes were misled and cheated, triggering the current enforcement action. The investigation is ongoing, with more revelations expected as ED analyses seized documents, digital records, and transaction trails.
